Who We Are
Meadowbrooke Farms Ltd are a logisitics company based in West Wicklow in easy access to the M9 motorway. We provide refrigerated transport services on an all Ireland basis, catering for ambient, chilled and frozen foods, carcass beef/ lamb/ pork and CAT3 petfood. We also provide low loader services moving machinery and plant. We are a family run business, priding ourselves on attention to detail and quality of service. Kevin senior has been involved in refrigerated transport for almost 50 years, starting his career in International transport in the mid 1970s and Kevin John has over 20 years experience of the same, taking the same path in the late 1990s.
Throughout these years it has was learned that having the correct equipment is paramount to ensuring the quality and integrity of the goods being transported, to this end there has been a programme of constant investment in the correct trailers and trucks specific to the requirements of the job at hand. We have a variety of refrigerated trailers and rigids to fullfill different requirements, from twin evap/ multi- temperature trailers to allow customers to mix fresh and frozen on loads, hanging trailers for the transport of carcass beef/ lamb/ pork, insuliners for the transport of vegetables.
Environmental Policy
As a company based in rural Ireland, providing transport services within the food and agriculture sectors we are very aware of the environment around us, to this end within our environmental policy we do our best to do our bit. We only use electricity from suppliers that are supplying 100% renewable energy. We harvest the rain water from buildings in our yard to use to wash our vehicles and where possible use biodegradeable and food safe detergents. We also have our trailers ATP tested to ensure their thermal efficiency, and F gas certified. We recycle a large proportion of the waste from our workshop, with skips on site for metal and packaging recycling. Our is always on reducing our impact on the environment around us.
